Sonakshi Sinha

Sonakshi Sinha is an atress and model from India. She was born on June 2 of 1987 in Patna, the capital and largest city of the state Bihar in India. She is best known for acting in the movie series 'Dabangg' with Salman Khan in 2010. the movie earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

Sonakshi started her career as a costume designer for the film 'Mera Dil Leke Dekho' in 2005 and became famous after acting in the movie 'Dabangg' directed by Abhinav Kashyap in 2010, it was also her debut movie.

Dabangg earned 6.2 IBDb rating and 77% google users liked it. After performing in this movie, she was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Actress in 2013.

Sinha also received a critical acclaim for her portrayal of a woman suffering from tuberculosis in the romantic drama Lootera in 2013.

She launched a new initiative, an interview format show titled Ab Bas, 'to put a full stop to cyber bullying and trolling', after deactivaing her account on Twitter. Sonakshi shared it's first episode on Instagram explaining the dark traits of social media such as cyber bullying, online harassment and trolling.

Sinha is one of those celebs who is often locked in hostile exchanges with trolls and has a reputation for standing up to online abuse and shutting trolls down with her sassy replies.
