The Richest Got Poorer

America's richest lost an immense amount of wealth in 2022. Billionaires like Elon Musk lost about $115 billion last year. And then by the beginning of 2023, one of India's wealthiest men, GautumAdani dropped from the list of Top 10 Richest in the World. He lost $48bn of his personal wealth, and is now 16th on the Forbes real-time billionaires list.
